Controversial Televangelist Robert H. Schuller Leaves Unexpected Legacy In Granddaughter's Provacative New Book God & Boobs.

LOS ANGELES, March 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Robert H. Schuller's first grandchild, Angie Schuller Wyatt, today announced the release of her first book, God & Boobs: Balancing Faith and Sexuality.  The provocative book is already raising eyebrows and rattling religious cages, precisely what Schuller Wyatt had in mind when she decided to tackle the subject of religious bullying.

It's a surprising twist to take on religion, a male dominated vocation, especially from a famous family with four generations of men with the same name, Robert Schuller. Her bold move has everyone asking, "Is Schuller Wyatt committing spiritual suicide?"  Schuller Wyatt is already paying the price.

A third-generation pastor, Schuller Wyatt was scheduled to appear on the Hour of Power broadcast where her brother Robert "Bobby" Schuller III preaches.  But when word got out that Schuller Wyatt had written God and Boobs, she was unceremoniously dumped via email from a church executive who gave no explanation.

Schuller Wyatt's father, Robert A. Schuller II, offers a possible explanation, "Angie has tackled a subject that is taboo in Christian circles. She answers the question, 'how do women balance faith and sexuality in a real and authentic manner. I am disappointed that the religious establishment is not embracing her message."

Schuller Wyatt's response to why she wrote God and Boobs is as uncensored as the book title. "I'm tired of religious bullies dictating to women how we should live our lives. In my work as a pastor, I counseled too many women who felt ashamed of their sexuality and were silenced into submission. I am trying to empower them to feel good about themselves."

It's clear that the Schuller family won't only be remembered as the founders of the Crystal Cathedral. God & Boobs: Balancing Faith and Sexuality is available on all ebook platforms and in print at and on her website,
