Google+ Android App Got 5 New Features

Google+ Updated its Android app

Google has unveiled five new features for its Google+ Android app. First of all, switching between pages and accounts has become much easier. Now users can switch between their Google accounts using multiple screens, instead of going out of one account and entering another one. +pages whose manager is the user are available in the app menu at any time.

Also there is a full support for Google Apps for Business features. If the Google Apps administrator has enabled Google+ support, users can share content publicly  with their circles, or only with those who are in the organization. Additionally, you can see at a glance if a user belongs to your Google Apps domain or not.

Photos and videos from Google Drive have became available to Google. If you store your photos and videos in Google Drive, you can share them in Google+ (using your Android device or the desktop pc) In addition to photo sharing, it is now possible to apply auto-correction and other features of Google Photos service to files storing on Google Drive.

The developers of new Google+ Android app provided more options for those who likes to check in. It is now possible to share the exact (or not very, for example, only the city) location with others (if you want). Users may customize their community, allowing, for example,  families to know exactly where they are, and colleagues - only the information about the city.

Finally, Chat finally goes away to be replaced by Hangouts. Google starts deleting Google Chat from the list of applications (first on Android, then on iOS). Hangouts apps will totally replace Chat.  Besides messaging, Hangouts allows you to make video calls. Users can save their chat history, using the Google archiver.

The updated app for Google Android can already be downloaded in Google Play.
